Hello Erik, The Meditation flute arrived today and the first impression is described as awesome. I´m by no stretch of the imagination an experienced musician. After a couple of minutes I found that sweet spot and produced my first full sound. Aside from the obvious quality of the flute there are many small details that add additional value to the purchase such as the practical wisdom sticker on the wrapping that reminds you to give the flute some time acclimate if delivered during extreme weather. The flyer with an excerpt from your autobiography. The few pages are enough to make it clear that you have led a life worth knowing much more about. Calling you simply “the flutemaker” is a gross over-simplification of things. I´m getting the impression that there is much to learn from you beyond flutes and scales. The tutorial flyer with your thoughts on how to get started with the flute. That makes the flute easily playable even for a novice like me. I got more out of this flyer than out of a flute textbook I used for reference. I haven´t seen the art of composing music wrapped up in such a handy nutshell. You wrote “Thank You” on the envelope that accompanied the package but it seems I have to thank you. The best testimonial I can give about your work? I will buy again. Hi Erik I just can’t seem to put them down, The KungFu and Meditation Flutes have such an amazing sound. When I start playing it’s like I’m in ancient times of the samurai… I’ve never played the flute before, until I got them from you, It only took about an hour to teach myself how to play, It seems I was meant to play, I’ve done some recording and when I play it back it sounds like I’ve been playing for years.
