Flutemaker Ministries

Flutemaker Ministries was born in 2006, when my wife, Linda and I performed for and gave out toys to 18 kids who were in the process of being rescued from a garbage dump in Nicaragua. Some of the children were living in a structure with no water, no electricity, no doors, no windows and no bathroom. The kids were sleeping in bags of rice and beans; it was an audience that changed our lives.

Through the help of many customers, Flutemaker Ministries was able to buy land, build the kids a home, start a farm, sow into micro businesses, support feeding centers and bring food and meds to 266 children with disabilities throughout northern Nicaragua for the next 14 years. Due to  2 hurricanes in late 2020, the pandemic we are helping to feed special needs kids and others in crisis with donated food from Feed My Starving Children throughout 2021. Each container of food can feed 175,000 children's meals. We agreed to take on 5 containers this year. Each container of food costs us about $9,000 to ship.

Inside our website you are given an opportunity to help children through Flutemaker Ministries. Additionally, the proceeds of my book and my music go to support our work in Nicaragua. We sure appreciate the help.
