The Minor Flute is creative and great to improvise with. It is a harmonic minor scale so anything you do sounds great. Reminds me of the Renaissance period.
The Major Flute is great to copy tunes. We will toss in a song sheet too.
These flutes have been tuned, fire treated and bound with protective binding.
This is a fund raiser to help rebuild Suyen's house.
The Story: Suyen Arauz is one of the Mercy Kids in our feeding program. Here she is at the Mercy Center, on the farm where a therapist helps the kids and shows Mercy Moms how to better care from them.
Suyen was born with her brain exposed and had many surgeries.
Their adobe house was old and the roof needed repairs. When Suyen’s dad, Elias, recently removed the roof, most of the walls fell down.
The Suyen House rebuild needs: Cement blocks, bags of cement, wood for the roof, sheets of corrugated metal for roof, nails, sand, stone, labor, transportation and food for workers.
If you would like to help Suyen and her family “Get back up”, please consider buying one or two of the flutes I have dedicated to help her get her house back up.
When you purchace the flute you will also have the chance to donate something more if you wish. Please let me know in the comment box at checkout that it is to rebuild Suyen’s house!’
As this is a fund raiser: The flute will not be able to be retuned for a refund.
Your Suyen Flute will come with protective bindings, tuning, fire treatment, a flute bag and because you look marvelous and I am motivated, inside the USA, shipping and handling is included!
Thank you! Erik the Flutemaker
Tips to play: These are side blown flutes so use a soft grin, press and roll to get sound as you "spit watermelon seeds across the blow hole. Use the pads of the fingers pressing on the holes. On the minor start playing from all closed to all open and back. For the major, see song sheet. All fingers closed and top finger up is the high do. Blow harder for higher octave.
